Stand Out logoStandOut Ownership Program

The StandOut Ownership Program was developed to give the dealer ownership a general overview of both the StandOut Comfort Consultant program and the StandOut Installation Engineer programs. During this two-day overview, the dealer can decide if these types of programs will fit his current business structure or may be programs that can be integrated into his business in the future. The Ownership Program primarily focuses on the commitment that needs to be made by the dealer, what needs to be implemented, and the leadership of the Process Owner to make these programs work within the dealers’ business. The dealer will receive information on how these programs will change the culture of the business to focus on the best interest of the consumer. The majority of the Ownership Program is an open discussion of the programs and their curriculums. A big emphasis is placed on the Sales Process and who is involved along with Lead Generation. The Ownership Program is a pre-requisite to attending the Comfort Consultant Program. There is no charge for attending the Ownership program. Lunch will be provided to participants. Class times are 8 am to 4 pm each day.

Comfort Consultant Class

We have developed trademarked sales training for your Comfort Consultants that is aimed towards educating them on how to assemble the ultimate comfort system for your customers. Gone are the days of hoping your bid is the lowest just to ‘get the job’…our Comfort Consultant training focuses on showing customers the value of the equipment they choose and the importance of giving them the system that fulfills their needs by capitalizing on the factors that are important to them. These factors differ from home to home, whether it’s indoor air purification, humidity control, or hot and cold spots in the house. These are just a few of the topics we cover that allow you to build on your dreams and visions of a profitable, growing, and consumer oriented HVAC company.

Our Comfort Consultant training is part of the Retail Sales Process. This “Process” allows you, the Dealer, to have an avenue to achieve your success. Consumers are looking for your company and the services that you provide. Are you structured to look for them and satisfy their comfort needs? In this two week training class you will learn how to:

  • Transition from a service to a sales organization
  • Transition from providing heating and cooling to providing comfort
  • Create the most effective presentation process to attract customers                   
  • Hire the right/best Comfort Consultant
  • Track consumer leads
  • Develop and utilize a retail price book
  • Offer the best consumer financing
  • Create/develop/update maintenance of a web site
  • Gain and maintain customer satisfaction

The course has extensive printed material, including personalized sales brochures, maintenance agreements, and more. Participants will receive a ‘toolkit’ that includes a digital camera, PDA, software, electronic tape measure, anenometer, and much more. The course is held at our Nashville or Birmingham Training Facility. Class times are 8am – 4 pm, Monday thru Friday, for 2 consecutive weeks. Graduation takes place on the last Friday of the course.

Installation Engineer Class

Our ‘hands on’ Installation Engineer course is held at our Nashville or Birmingham Training Facility. All installer participants should wear their company uniform to class each day. Class times are 8 am – 4pm daily, with Graduation held on Friday.

The following topics will be covered during this one-week course:

  • In home communications
  • Brazing
  • Electrical low voltage and line voltage
  • Controls T-Stats
  • Refrigeration cycle
  • Air flow and duct design
  • Checking system capacity
  • Safety (electrical, torches)
  • Proper charging, startups, and wiring
